Cargo capacity for a Toyota Rav 4?

Question:
Woodworking is an occasional hobby of mine. If I bought a Rav 4, can I fit a 4 x 8 ft plywood panel in the rear, even if it projects out a bit?

Is a 2001 BMW 3 series reliable?

Not really on this model. The rear hatch opens like a car door, sideways so if you had something long and wide like the plywood that you're asking about, you'd have to have the rear door all the way open. It will accomidate long items (as long as 8-9' by folding down the front passenger seat and laying longer items over top of it, but it won't accomidate long, wide items like the plywood that you're describing. I don't have a website that lists the exact length and width of the cargo area, but if I had to estimate, with the rear seat(s) folded down, you probably have about 4-5' of length and about 3 3/4' width.

Karmann Ghia help?

The better alternative that is about the same size but has a overhead opening rear hatch is the highlander. Hope this helps.

Are replacing the bearings and the rods in a 1995 Chevy Camaro expensive and time consuming?

You couldnt fit something that big. A new Toyota is junk, just read this http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;... You should look at a GMC Acadia or Saturn Outlook. They are both better than a Rav4, and would hold more stuff than you need.
