I have a 1.8 96 VW Golf. On start up it gives a puff of blue/black smoke that clears then runs clear after?

They used to would interchange, but I can't be sure on the '81. You may run into a issue with motor mounts, on the older trucks the mounts for the 302 set the motor farther back than the six banger.

A 95 Mercedes-Benz C 220 4-cylinder. . . ?

For the record, the bellhousing bolt patterns on the two engines are identical. But the intended gain is hardly worth the labour required for the swap, unless you have a "donor vehicle" at your disposal. The 300 cu. in inline 6 is a good engine with plenty of torque, that will run forever when properly maintained.

I have a 1996 Dodge Neon and reverse stopped working. Will I need a new transmission.?

No the bell housing will fit. Your ring gear or flywheel /clutch may not. If they don't the bell housing Will not have the diameter spacing for your starter. You'll loose a lot of "lugging torque" however. The 302 is a high rpm. car motor not suited for the "grunt" needed for a pick -up. I' look for another 300 cu. in. 6 or smaller 6. I know for a fact you'll get better fuel economy!

what is the problem with Ford aerostar 93. it won't start?

The Inline 6 is the best truck motor Ford ever made, at least in the aspect of high mileage and reliability. It really depends on what you want to use the truck for. If you're looking for speed, the 302 will be your best bet. If you're looking for reliability, low end power, and you want to pull trailers, definently go with 300 - 6.

what is the best window tint for an 06 civic?

im a big fan of the old straight six 300, then last a long time, are simple to work on, and the heads are much easy and cheaper to rebuild, if its a automatic its a standard c-6 trans mission not a lot to them, it they should intechange and fit, id put hte money in the c-6 they have a lot more tourque.

How to check 2003 caviler transaxle fluid level?

The 300, 302 and 460 all share the same bell housing and bolt patern. However, the engine mounts and location of is different and as such the trans locates in a slightly different place, which changes the driveline length. Go to the junk yard with a careful eye and a measuring tape.

what will you say in the end of ur life?

On a different note if you are wanting to change the engine to get more power you should know that the inline six produces as much or more torque than the eight and with very little modification will make just as much if not more power and it's just cool to blow away all those V8's with a six.
