I know of a Sign Shop that will make the decal signs for me.. the 53 and the racing stripes... I just need to know the sizes...

What is an overdrive ?

If you're building a "Herbie" you need:
a 1963 Ragtop sedan (cloth sliding sunroof)
paint: L87 Pearl White
license plate: California OPF-857 (black plate, yellow lettering)
The "meatballs" with the numbers are 12" in diameter, with 8" numbers.
Stripes are 2" blue, 1" white, 1.5" red.

plates can be purchased thru www.licenseplates.tv They're not street-legal, but they come out great, right down to the mis-shapen letters used by California in the 60's & 70's
