Does anyone know the interchangeability of 1998 Chevy truck long box (bed) with 1992 Chevy truck long box?

Will a 1998 Chevy truck long bed box interchange with a 1992 Chevy truck long bed box (including rear quarter panels and tailgate)? Or does anyone know how to find this out without ordering a manual or reference book? Thanks in advance for anyone's help.

If you are talking full size trucks, 1988 to 1998 are all the same body style and the bed should be a direct swap.
S10's are different from those years.

88-98 should all be the same. And to be sure call your GM parts dept. they will tell you what years match by the part number.
