My brother owns a Mazda pickup truck and it is doing the same thing, I told him that it seems to be the fuel pump regulator, the relay or pump itself( but the pump was replaced 3 months ago). So let´s take the last one out. It stalls out because it is probably loosing the air mixture that combines with the fuel on the way into the intake. Good luck!

have to replace the fuel filter and I think its located in teh fuel tank. I know my 03 in in the fuel tank. thats more than likely the cause of it. a very common problem in the dakota.
