I don't know about the United States, but here in Australia they had to pack up and leave. Daewoo is well known for forklifts, and they are really fantastic forklifts at that!! Too bad they go faster then the cars they built.I guess people want a huge "tank" of a vehicle so that they can feel safe. Gas mileage just isn't important for people who want safety...plus....the daewoo car has a poor engine, and no resale value. If your looking for a poorly built mini car with amazing gas mileage, buy an old firefly, sprint, or swift.....good engine, 60mpg for the manual trans.
