Question:
2001 Ford focus, i changed the fuel filter, injectors are fairly new, new wires, plugs, and coil pack. also checked the catalytic converter. But nothing. Here is what happens, at idle i step on the gas and it putts and sounds like it is gonna die. When driving car has very little power and when i get to higher RPM when driving it loses power completely til i let off the gas and shift into a higher gear.

Cars have several sensors that feed information to the computer that controls the fuel injection, timing, etc. If a sensor involving the fuel/air mixture is bad, it will cause a lot of the symptoms.
