Toyota Warranty Cancellation - Do they have to refund tax?

A Toyota Extended warranty was purchased through the dealership and at the time of purchase they had charged for the warranty + tax. They advised when I cancel within 30 days, they will refund the money. Dealership has to refun the warranty price + tax? Is this correct or what?
