turn your ignition key on and off three times ending up in the on position (do not engage the start) your check engine light will start blinking count the blinks it will be a 2 digit code. for example if it blinks 5 times then another 5 times that is code 55 which means nothing is wrong. if you get another code you can call a shop of look in a Haynes manual for what the code means. there are codes in there for the computer to check itself to. or if no codes show up then you may have abad computer.good luck
