I have a 2005 chevy cavalier and the gauges are reading incorrectly, any help?

Question:
My gas, speed and rpm gauges are reading incorrectly. For example: when i'm parked, my speedometer shows that i'm going 80-50-40 ect. mph and my rpm and gas are just random.

I was also thinking about purchasing a Bmw 6 series, however does anyone kno if the 6 series have any problems

OIL found near engine area - Honda Civic 94?

The instrument cluster is sent information of a data line. If the data line goes down the guages don't work, but the car won't start either. Sounds like the cluster went bad. If it were a fuse, the guages wouldn't work at all.
