Question:
Hi,
1997 Pontiac Grand Prix SE, 161,000 miles, $1950. Should I buy?
Just wondering how to import 2nd cars from Japan. E.g. I'm interested in buying a year 2002 Rx7 from Japan. Unforutnately the rx7 reconds in malaysia were mostly manufactured between 1991 to 1994. Why are there no more newer reconditioned cars being imported by the dealers?

Why is the peugeot 406 coupe so rare to find?
A lot of the times its the customs charges and testing in needed.Since its an RX7 FD and was previously released here in the states, you shouldnt have much of a problem getting it over here.
RHD wouldnt be a problem either but I would just double check with your local state.
I've only imported a few cars (Celica, Supra, and Fairlady) over here to the states, just be prepared to have a wait on customs.
If the car is documented as non running and "does not run" it tends to be a little faster.
Has anyone ever hada renault laguna and had any problems with it?
I would try to go through a "used Japanese engines" dealer, who have been routinely ordering them from Japan for many years. They import and sell used engines to us "do- it -yourselfers " at a very good price. If they can easily get engines, why not the whole car? Check it out.Isn't there enough Jap junk already here? Why do you feel the need to import one??
