I have been having problems with my a/c on my suv I have put 2 cans of R143a in it and finally found the leak some how a rock got up againt my condenser and it is leaking coolant. I was wondering if it could be patched or does it have to be replaced.

Replacing the condenser is the best route. Also running the compressor without R143a in the system with low or w/o coolant may cause it to fail too since it needs the coolant as a lubricant.More Questions & Answers ...
