Question:
Is it true that the car's interior is covered with cheap plastics that easily scratched?. Does it realy have a spacious trunk? what would you think about overall quality of the car?
Answers:
Xterra is body-on-frame, like a truck, so the ride is firm. But it does a nice job of smoothing out most potholes and bumps on the road.
The 4-liter V6 is powerful (270hp), but it's not terribly fuel efficient. Unfortunately, Nissan doesn't off a 4 cylinder - that goes in their X-rail that they sell practically everywhere in the world except the US.
do you know where on the internet...?
If you want a vehicle that goes off road, through the mud and over rocks with the best and still is drivable to work and shopping every day, you should give it a look. There are some good dealer incentives on them right now.
It is a good, dependable SUV with real off-road capabilities/ Clueless Detroit-only "answers" like Miss Mopar above are written by people who have never driven one, and probably never given on a second look due to their anti-Japanese bias.

Its the uglist vehicle Ive ever seenyes its cheap plastic
I had one, and never worried about where I was going while in 4-wheel drive. It handled al inclines very easily, and never hesitated. However, it was not a smooth ride on the highway. It definitely drove more like a truck than a car. I had no issues with the interior scratching The seats were cloth, but again, made for durability.
Hello this is Mark. From your questions it appears that you have never seen the Xterra. The Xterra is not a car and it does not have a trunk. And really, overall quality. What you need to do is to go to a Nissan dealer and look, touch, see and judge for yourself if you would like it. Nissan has produced, for the most part, very good new products. But down the road, say 10 years, you have to ask yourself, what did the owners do to the product. I've worked on and owned many different new and used cars, trucks and SUV's. I know what a person can do when they beat a produce up and when one takes care of it. My advice. Go out and see for your self what's out there. Try different products and see what you like. And If you can't go then send a family member or a very good friend. Look for yourself then ask your questions. I can't offer any recommendations to you at this point. But I wish you well in your quest. Good Luck Mark
I've owned a lot of vehicles in my day from fine fit and finish to military drab. I recently purchased an Xterra and I am quite convinced it is a competent on or off road vehicle. I an considering buying an up scaled Xterra.
Good luck and go for it...

were can i find a volvo wagon in 11968 or 11969?
my friend had one and though it was a nice truck the gas mpgs were not so nice.Could somebody explain this specifications?
i think the interior is fine most cars are plastic the xterra is a real sport utility vehicle it will leave most other 4x4s at the trail head. People buy these huge suv's and never go off road with them. the only time these cell phone using soccer moms go off road in there 50000 dollar suv is when they miss the driveway backing out. look at the wheels on these expensive suv's and then tell me who knows how to drive. There is plenty of room in the xterra and you can pick a used 02-03 with less than 60000 miles for under 14000 easily. I know I am looking at one now. the only bad thing i have heard is the mileage is around 15-18 but i usually get better mileage than most people because i am not ina hurry. The supercharged version is nice but you will lose 1-2 mpg and it requires premium fuel only the interior is cloth usually and its designed to be cleaned easily the truck is pretty much bullet proof so mech. wise you should be fine. look for a clean used one and save your money pissing it away on a new car is rediculous. spend your saved money on a performance exhaust and a cold air intake and you will get a few more ponies and maybe pick up a mpg or two.More Questions & Answers ...
