I live in upstate NY and it snows in the winter.sometimes alot and other times not too bad. and i like the volkswagon beetle.and like both the convertible and the regular one. and some people tell me it's not good to have a convertible or it's better to not have one..but i see alot of people with them. anyone have opinions on a convertible where it snows in the winter? will it reck the top?

no it wont wreck the top.the only way if theres a rip in the top.where snow/water seep into the fabric...but it shouldnt hurt the top...if your worried about it keep it in a garage.How is this truck 4wd? 75 chevy truck?

Just keep it clean and don't abuse it when raising and lowering it. I would also suggest a top cover in the summer when the top is down to keep dirt out of it while driving topless.
