Question:
i know where the screw on the carb is to adjust it but i dont know which way to turn it. my o2 sensor went out so i had to tighten the screw to keep it idleing so now that i replaced it the idle is high. i dont know weather i made it too rich or to lean. so if i thighten it does it get rich?

Nissan sentra, 1992, first time owner of a Nissan, don't have a book on it and need to know what all of the
Left is rich (more fuel backing the screy out) right is leaner.. but thats just the idle screws.. nothing to do with the main jets./.. try instead to turn down the idle screw (different screw )instead if the idle jets... and Oh dont forget the anti diesel screw too(its usually a bolt on a solinoid connected to the main linkage)... all totally seperate adjustments..

screwing the screw out will give you more fuel ,but make sure you have the right screw there is air jets two.
