I'm looking to get a bigger family car as I currently have a Ford KA and need a car that I can fit a buggy in the boot. I'm not buying the car to fit the buggy but I want a durable bigger car and I was looking at the VW Passat / Audi A4 and wondered if anyone had or knows of someone with one that have infants. I'd rather get a Saloon than an Estate.
I currently have a Mamas & Papas Pliko Pramette pram/push chair but as my child gets older I'll end up with little push chair.

You should be able to as these car are designed to take golf clubs, have a look at your local car supermarket where you can compare the cars.If not i have a mondeo hatchback and the boot is huge and as it's a hatchback you can fit anything in. Great car

I have a passat saloon and put a big push chair in the boot no problem,as for Audi 4 and passat they are made on the same base frame so will have about the same space.The passat would be cheper on spares and maintenance in the long run.Why don't you go and try the space in the boot space for that push chair first then you will know yourself.you can beat the passat boot its massive and what a car!!

I have a VW Passat and it takes a buggy/pram no problem when folded. I have had my Passat from new for 3 years and it has been great. The Diesel engines are great 20,000 miles between the services and I get nearly 600 miles for 50 pounds of diesel. I believe that the back seats don't fold on the Audi unless you pay extra for this feature but they do on the Passat.
