My dumb car just locked the keys in it. How is that possible? They were in the ignition, and it was unlocked .... the door shut behind me and BAM! the stupid thing locked itself .... I'm sitting at home waiting to call my boss to tell her I will be late to work! UGH!!

Some cars do that. If you notice when you get in to the vehicle and start it the doors lock. I hate when that happens. I had the same thing happen when I just got my car. Then I got a remote stater for it and never had problems since.what is neeta volvo bus fare from mumbvai to palitana?
If the keys are in the ignition, and the doors are closed, the computer assumes you're there, ready to go, and locks the doors to keep you safe. When you stop, put it in park and turn it off the doors unlock for you. Don't ever leave the keys in the ignition, problem solved.how much resale value can I get after 3 year for Hyundai Tucson? i mechanic for a living,and i had a ford ranger do this to me,and it running,i started it,and shut the door and then it locked,,i later found it to be a fault of the security system on it,,,the owner said it had done this several times before,i had to buy a tool to get in to it with,,that may be what made your do this also..good luck i hope you get it opened up soon,,happy new years.these electric supercharger induction kits that replace your air filter are they any good?

your car needs a new drivers side door latch. you can check to see if this is correct by opening the drivers door with the key(not the remote) and opening the door and see if the dome light comes on. if the light doesn't come on that you need a new drivers door latch inside the door.More Questions & Answers ...
