I looked into this for my '95 GMC turbo diesel. Essentially I found two ways of doing it. 1) Filter the VO well then just use it straight. The draw back is that it thickens up at a much higher temp than diesel. 2) Buy or build a system for processing the WVO into biodiesel.
Our GMC diesels don't really require modification to run WVO or biodiesel. The injector nozzle holes are large enough to keep from getting clogged with particles that make it through the stock filter. However, it is easy enough to put a finer filter in the fuel line between the boost pump (on the inner side of the left frame rail under the driver's door) and the stock filter. If you choose to run unprocessed WVO, your filters will require changing much more frequently.
