I believe the 16's will not fit because you will not have enough clearance with the 16" rim to fit over your heavy duty brake disc's/rotors and calibers on your Ram2500.

I looked into this for my 04 Ram3500 CTD for winter rims but I could not because of my caliber and brake disc/rotor size would not fit a 16 inch rim. So, I just use my stock rims for winter and ride on 18 inch rims for summer. However, if you are unsure about it talk to your local tire shop to test fit a 16 inch 8 bolt rim on your truck to see the clearance.

yea they will fit but they would look weird being as to they are too small.Yes they will but I before buying tires I would talk to a mechanic or someone experianced about which tire size you will need to compensate for the 1" loss off the rims. This will affect the spedo reading if you get too small or large of tires.

if you reduce your rim size by 1 inch, you should increase your tire size by the same. that way the speedometer and alignment remain the same.
