What is faster for an engine - 6.5hp or 250cc?
do what i did, go to a hardware store and buy a 3" 5' aluminum outdoor light post ($25). pop the hood and measure the fit. i dont remember the exact dimensions, but i believe after 12 inches it needed a 90 degree bend. after you have the dimensions, take it to a muffler shop and have them mandrel bend it for the correct shape. (a friend of mine worked there so i got it bent for free.. the bends shouldnt be over $5).Sand off the black and use some semichrome polish on the bare metal. Go to autozone and find a suitable filter. ($20-30) and intake seals ($5, need 2 if the filter doesnt include 1)
There ya go, you have a $200 intake for $65.
Will a 1964 260 cid standard trans bellhousing fit a 250 cid Ford engine ?
(NOTE). i did have to make some mounts for it out of some scrape aluminum i had laying around. i bent some 1/4inch 1 inch wide 8"long rectangle aluminum in a vice. I then welded it to the bottom of the intake and used the original mounting bolts for the airbox.
Do anyone know where the blow moter risistor is located under the hood.?
But if you want to spend $200: http://www.focusfanatics.com/
