I have a 95-96 nissan sentra that all of a sudden got really loud..not the engine..the exshaust.?

Everybody said that it was not making this noise at all..it may need a oil change. but other then that. my friend that is a mechanic said it sounded like the catalytic converter. i have no idea what that is..so please let me know whats wrong with me car.!!

You may have blown the baffles out in the muffler or catalytic converter. The other thing to check is for a hole in the line as well. Simple repair job.
