I don't know specifically that car but most GM cars can be reset one of three ways.(and the answer should be in your owners manual)i have a 1994 chevy silverado?
1. You turn the key to ON position then pump the gas pedal three times(this was used on a lot of late 90s cars)
2. Sometimes there is a reset button in the fuse panel that is out under the hood.
3.(and the easiest) Just unplug the negative battery terminal from the battery for at least 45 seconds then plug it back in. The only downside to that is you will lose your radio presets and will have to reprogram them.
open the drivers door then open the fuse panel thats in the end of the instrument panel, theres a large red square button that says oil light reset, push it in and hold until the light goes out, usually about 2 minutes, sometimes the`re finiicky hold a while longer
how top buy a mexican new VW beetle for use in the USA?
After changing the oil, remove the left dash fuse panel cover. With the ignition on, depress and hold the button on the panel until the oil change light either flashes or goes off. Re-check when starting and it should be back to normal again. I think this info should be in your owner's manual.I have a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo V6 2wd that is losing coolant. I need help!?
