How to fix the leaky top on a 1996 Eclipse Spyder?

I have a 1996 Eclipse Spyder, I love this car but I hate the fact that the top has leaked from day one. I even bought a new top but still it leaks, light rain or hard. I was wondering if anyone has this problem and came up with a way to fix it? Thanks!
