How to find wiring problems on my 95 jetta?
have you checked the fuses or sometimes a wire will come lose and yes you can do it yourself if you know what your doingI have a VW 2000 bug and have had it for a yr and have had so many problems out of it.?
The motor is stuck or the switch is bad. Push the button for that window up, and watch at the same time to see if the dome light dims a little. If it doesn't it maybe the switch, but if it does it's the motor stuck. Remove the door panel and tap on the motor, or near the motor with a small hammer while having the switch in the up position. That should break it loose. What company do you hope will buy Chrysler?
Have you checked behind the door panel? OR checked the fuses? Is there any iformation on 2006 Toyota Tacoma 4X4 Access cab V6 automatic truck?
yes, get a door panal remover and take off the door panal, button may be bad replace it or it could be the motor usally when i fix one even if its the motor only i go ahead and replace the botton too but both only take a few min. to fixWhere can i buy a volkswagon squareback?
I have never had a mustang but on other cars this problem is ususally cause by a faulty switch. You can get a replacement at your dealer. If your into tinkering you can try taking the switch appart to fix it but watch out for the springs inside!.The biggest part of this repair is usually getting the door panel off without damage. There's lots of screws arround the perimeter and at the door handle and mirror controls. then the panel will lift away at the bottom and sort of clip into place at the top/window. Give it a bump in an upward direction.
P.S. make sure you order the right switch for the right door.
My 1990 ford pickup has no power?
Acommon problem with fords.pull the door panel and leavethe switch connected.have a friend push the button for up and gently tap the motor with a mallet and the window will go up...once the window is up (and the switch was not bad) go to you dealer and order a window motor.
Trunk wont stay open on 95 prelude?
I'll guess it is the driver's window. That is the one that gets used the most and the one that breaks the most too. A lot of the time it is the switch, the contacts inside the switch get slag built up on them and then they don't make contact. The switches are kind of molded and you're better off getting a new one. I have taken them apart and cleaned the contacts but it's a dicey deal, it may work or it may not.To check the switch, once you take the switch out, unplug it and get a short piece of wire and stick it in the common wire and the up wire, if you know which one is which.
Get a new one and you'll be better off.
