Question:
I will be in the middle of driving and the car will just go crazy first the stereo will shut off by it self, then the ABS and check engine light will go on.Then the speedometer and tacometer needles will go up and down, then the car starts to buck and it will just die out. I can't restart the car after, or even get the key out. I have had to have it towed to the auto mechinic for the thrid time and they can find nothing wrong with it.
Also after having the car towed sunday night because it stalled out again, when then mechanic got in the car this morning to see what was wrong with it. The car started right up like nothing was wrong. He thinks I am crazy! I really stuck the mechanic has had the car for a week and can find nothing wrong with it. Anyone have any suggestions

Does anyone know when the new hard top 3 series bmw gets released for sale in the UK?
Sounds like the coil and plugs and wires. Is there a check engine light on? It could also be the mass air flow sensor. Check the fuel delivery and the charging system too.I am dieing to find out other opinions. Accord or Camry. Please do tell which you prefer overall?
Get another car ,sounds like computer problemsSounds like the alternator, I had pretty much the identical problem on my '96. It would charge the battery only at certain speeds, so the battery voltage would go down. This causes the stereo and ABS systems to shut off, and the computer to start going nuts...
To be sure, go to http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/foru...

where is the thermostat located on the engine of a 1995 vw passat?
I personally think there is something wrong with the actual computer under the hood. My other suggestion could also be to see if one of the fuses is loose or messed up. I highly recommend that you take it to a suburu dealer to get it checked out.4wd shift pattern for a 89 toyota truck?
Start by replacing the battery if it isn't brand new. Check the grounds and alternator. You're losing electrical power somewhere.the rule of thumb is when oddball and intermittent symptoms arise the ground system must be thoroughly checked first. [all body grounds and all engine grounds, including battery connections.pay attention to battery positive connection on this car as several power feeds are located here and just "scratching" the post contacts is not enough, take the connector apart and get all terminals "shiny"clean, and then coat with silicone dielectric grease [available from 3-m] while i suspect that your battery and alternator are just fine they should both be load tested now that power feeds and grounds are in order good luck
