I saw a billboard for the new piece of crap Ford Edge today, and I realized that they still put those warehouse-style keypads on it, like you need security access to get in your beater. The last car I ever saw these on (non-Ford), was probably a Nissan Quest, well over 6 years old. Why can't they update a little like every other car company?

At the local Ford dealer, they had those nasty keypads on many cars. At this dealership they were aftermarket, with a nose bleed price of $299 for something that looks like it was designed in the old Soviet Union. The price for the keypad was on the second sticker along with the $299 pinstripe.
