99.9% positive that it will be reverse rotation. Take a look at your accesory drive belts and you will know for sure. If you have V-belts (which I HIGHLY doubt as Ford stopped using them in 86) then your water pump is standard rotation. If you have a Serpentine belt (just 1 belt roughly 1.25 inches wide) then you have a reverse rotation water pump.
