Question:
I am thinking about buying an 07 Wrangler Rubicon. I want to know how & what the offroading performance differences are between the 2-door Wranger Rubicon & the 4-door Wranger Rubicon. I plan to do some offroading, but I won't be rockclimbing the Rubicon trail anytime soon. Would it just be silly to buy the 4-door? Or will it be able to perform just as well as the 2-door?

The headlights are on all the time in the 2004 toyota corolla. How do you tun them off?
The difference comes from the type of offroading you want to do. If you need to manuever, like around trees and sharp rocks for example, the shorter wheel base would be a great asset. But if you plan on climbing steep inclines, long descents, crossing gullys or wide ruts, the extre 10 inches will go a long way to keep you moving and not tipping over. If you're lucky enough to live near desert dunes, the longer stance will have a minor benefit in staying on top of the sand by the tire choice would make a bigger difference. Are all fd3s rx7's twin turbo?
The 4 door has a longer wheelbase and therefore will bottom out easier going over things. The 2 door is much better for 4 wheeling. BTW- why is it so hard to find the half doors on the Wrangler? They look stupid with the top down and a door frame sticking up against nothing! The 2 door is better for serious 4wheeling but the 4 door will have a better resale value and is fine for light 4wheeling.Me and a friend of mine took his 4 door dune jumping and he went everywhere I did in my 2001 Wrangler.
