Hondas like Toyotas generally have very good engines. 250000km is getting to be alot though. If it was a one owner car that had a full maintenance history I would still say that it has done alot. At those kind of km lots of parts other than the motor will be nearing replacement if not already replaced eg wheel bearings, cv joints, clutch, etc. If I was buying the car I would expect some repairs would be needed over the next couple of years but who knows. Can 18's fit on a 2000 eclipse gt stock there 17's the 18's came off my 1996 eclipse?
For the owner to say you can get another 200000kms out of it is really just a random statement. Consider the price number of owners and service history from when the car was new before making your choice. Generally a car that is really tidy on the body and inside, and has no noticable mechanical problems is a good bet. I always think if the car is rough outside or inside then the owner probably hasnt maintained the mechanical side of it.
What is that, about 150- 160,000 miles. You won't be getting another 200,000k out of it most likely, but she's still got some miles (or kilometers) left in her. Generally an accord like that, with good maintenance, could easily last up to 250,000 miles or more. That's about 400,000k
Whats the name of the rims that are on the lowriders cars it looks like spokes?
accords are hard to kill. if you take care of it, dont burn the crap out of it, you'll get 200,000, maybe even more out of it. but i wouldnt pay 5k for a 1997 with that many kms.. expect to pay around 3000-3700 for a car like that.More Questions & Answers ...
