Removing rsx-s cd changer?

I put a 70s era 350 in a 86 camaro that had a v-6 once and it would amaze you how many things don't quite fit . I had a different transmission so that was no problem but I had to make engine mounts, redo the exhaust, water pump was to long , radiator did not have enough cooling capacity, some of the previous answers have good points. plus with the stock suspension of the 63 you wont really be able to get the full benefit from the v-8. so to sum it up unless you have some money to spend to make this project right I would suggest fixing the straight six and knowing you have a great classic.

I changed the timing belt in my 1991 honda accord with automatic transmission.?

Going from a 6 to an 8 is never a direct swap. There are always modifications that need to be made. The motor mounts for one. The bell housing should not give you any problem but the position of the transmission might. you may have ot move it forward or backward to mate up to the engine correctly. then you are looking at changing the radiator to cool the bigger motor. or just have the existing one recored with a nother core. You will also need to have the exhaust modified to accommodate the other half of the engine. that's just some of it. I'm sure there is more that I have missed.

Chevy Cobalt SS....?

The motor swap isn't hard. Just drop in a 350 with a turbo 350 auto and you will avoid the bell housing headaches. I can't remember if your car has the motor mounts that are at the front and rear of the motor, if so the conversion kits are readily available. That being said, if there is nothing wrong with the car, keep it original, they don't make them any more. Good luck.

Jeep soft top.?

With what I know you will have to change motor mounts. They are easy to get and cheap. You shouldn't have to change transmissions but you will have to get a flexplate if it is an automatic. The torque converter has to bolt on somewhere. If it is a manual you will have to get a flywheel that will bolt up to the clutch assembly. Make sure the pilot shaft fits the flywheel before you start lowering your engine in. That chevy has all kinds of room underneath the hood so that will be an easy conversion. You'll have to modify the throttle linkage, exhaust, and wiring. None of these modifications are hard. You'll have to get some brackets for the power steering, alternator, and a.c. if you have it. If you have power brakes you'll have to change the vacuum assist hose because the six cylinder has different vacuum source locations. Hopefully you have all of the parts otherwise you'll have some time into shopping around. If it was me I would keep that biscayne all original because it makes it worth more in a collecter's standpoint. That 230 would probably get way better fuel mileage then that 350 would. That six cylinder is easy to rebuild so I would go that route. Good luck.

And don't forget stronger coil springs for the added weight.

What do you normal people think about my Civic?

The 6 and V8 bell-housing bolt pattern of that era were the same, so no problem there. The front brackets that go between the engine mount and frame may be a little hard to find.

What could i do to make my 2002 v6 mustang faster and louder?

Jake, the 62's, 63's and 64's had weak rear springs and sat a little low in the rear, so I'd say leave the front springs alone and it will be a little low all the way around.

WHAT IS a GOOD PRICE FOR DUAL EXHAUST (INCLUDING HEADERS) FOR A 95 TRANS AM?

motor mounts will have to be changed but the upper a arm is usually drilled for the v8 mounts and that car probably came with a 2speed tranny so you are going to want to change the trans for something better then that for a 350 so if you go with the turbo 350 trans it will bolt right up, or even if you go with the 700R it will still bolt up, your biggest modification is going to be from the drive shaft because it will have to be resized. But if you don't want to keep it stock the this is diffinently the right way to go.l
