You made a very big contridiction there... "I can't afford to spend a lot" and "make it faster." If you really want to make a noticeable difference, you're going to need to spend some money. Start out with a Cold Air intake (look it up, $200), possibly a chip ($200-300) and possibly exhaust ($500-1000) After that skies the limit.If you really want to go a lot faster but not spend a lot, get a different car, simple as that.
