How is the ride with your lowering springs? If you hate it, go to a NAPA/AutoZone(whatever) and order a set of stock springs.

Don't take them off over a pothole in the road as with stock springs you will get just as much damage from hotting the pothole.

Depends on if it was lowered professionaly or not..in either case a cheap and easy way to raise it a couple inches are spring spacers, you can get them at any auto parts store, get the metal ones with bolts, not the rubber coated ones taht you just squeeze in there..
metal ones will hold, and they have a better adjust on them.. very easy, and very cheap, and will keep your lowered car from being tore up..
(I use them on my CRX cause I have wide tires on it, and it keeps my fender off my tire, I got a 2 inch raise out of mine)

Most factory height springs are available on ebay and on some of the Miata forums on the internet. Most people are looking to lower their Miata's... and sell off their factory springs for pennies on the dollar. Try picking up a used set on ebay or at a salvage yard (I'm guessing no more than $50 for a set of 4). Then sell yours on ebay or try to trade with someone who's wanting to lower their car. If someone cut or heated the factory springs on your car to lower it... I would toss them in the salvage pile. If you go back to Mazda for a new set... prepare yourself for the bill. Dealerships are rarely cheap on anything. Installation is probably not a DIY type of thing unless you feel extremely comfortable and have the proper tools (spring compressors, etc). Call the local garages and tell them what you're wanting to do and get several estimates. Also, don't forget to do a 4 wheel alignment because changing the ride height does change the wheel geometry a bit. Good luck!you will need to replace the coil springs should pick them up in any good scrap yard or ebay but postage might be expensive.not a job for someone that doesnt know what there doing can be very dangerous there is a lot of tension in coil springs when there compressed and you need the proper tools.
