I own a transmission shop, and I would do this; open the bleeder valve until fluid runs out, and close it. You can't let it run out all the fluid in the reservoir, as if you do it will get more air in it. Pump the pedal for about 30 times, and let it sit for 20 minutes. Repeat the process again until you get a pedal, or it begins to work the clutch rod. If you have a friend that can help you, have them pump the pedal about 30 times, hold the pedal on the bottom while you crack the bleeder, and close it again. Let it sit for 10 minutes, and check the fluid level between each bleeding. Repeat this process until it finally works like it should. The pedal must remain on the floor while you open, and close the bleeder, or it will suck air back into the cylinder. You can also get a bleeder tool at a parts store that will pump the air out of the system, but they are pretty expensive.

the can be tuff.fill the reservoir,then open bleeder till fluid runs out don't let it run out of fluid close the bleeder then pump the peddle for as much as 15 to 20 minutes,if that dont work take the slave cylinder off the bell housing leaving the line connected,slowly push the rod into the cylinder to push the air up to the master cylinder do it several times and dont allow the rod to come back out to fast or it will pull the air back down.takes lots of patience.sometimes walking away over nite will allow the air to work its way up.
