Why is the all-new amazing Nissan Bluebird targeted at women?

Isn't this silly? I've always been into Bluebirds but this time Nissan is gonna make a fool of itself by saying the all-new Bluebird is targeted at women.. It looks nice and should feel nice too but what's with the target audience?
