as a kid my dad had a vw but it was very rare i have never seen another one, it looked like a beetle at the back but had a really long front and big round headlights, if it helps it was blue. i cant think of its name can anyone shed some light on it please? oh and it went very fast, but then i was very young lol.

back in the says and maybe now still, people used to change the front-end of the VW BUG. they used to use the roll-royce front-end or anything that could fit nicely on the front. do a search for it and you'll see what i'm talking about. and as far as for "it went very fast" well, when you have about 130hp on a car that's only 1,300 lb, well.......fast wouldn't be an issue !!!
