Question:
Just bought a new 300c and the only thing I don't like about the car is the "chrome cladded" rims. Just wondering if anyone has gone the aftermarket route and has any suggestions. I don't want to turn the car into a bling-mobile, no 22 inch rims, etc. Just want a different look with the current tires.
Answers:
Why is BMW slower in performance than Mercedes and Porsche?
Sure, I sell Chryslers for a living, and I have sold several and the owners have put on aftermarket rims. Just make sure the Rim diameter is the same, and the most important thing is back spacing. If you are mechanical take the rim and tire off. Lay a straight-edge across the back of the rim(Rim face down)and measure from the straight-edge to the flat plate the mounts to the dics brake, that is the backspace. Match that and it will be easy. Choose the rims you like, have them mounted and balanced and enjoy!More Questions & Answers ...
