if its a 2.0 the car is slow we own one. its no sence putting money in the motor its pointless if its a 1.8t then chip it.

I don't know about aircooled Beetles, but i think the in-thing for newer VWs, including New Beetles are airbag suspensions. Those go roughly $2,000-5,000US. Neon lights can go from 20 bucks to several hundred dollars, depending on how many you put on, what brand, where ya put them, and if you do them yourself.

What do you guys think about the future of cars ?

If you do them on a new beetle, don't be surprised if people make fun of you. However, if well done and part of a full makeover(as opposed to just sticking airbags and neon lights on a stock base-model beetle), I think it could look cool.

Your car, your money, I say. Just be sure that whatever you do is safe, well thought out, and well executed.
