There is a way, but, you may disable something else in the process. If the Jeep is a all 4 wheel drive it is supposed to be on. But, to be on the safe side check with a repair shop or a local Jeep dealer to be sure.
Also be aware, that all Jeep Grand Cherokee ZJ's from 1993-1997 have lots of electrical problems and sometimes they will surprise you with what they do, even when they are parked and no key in the switch.
