2003 BMW 325i. Do the parking lights flash with the arming and disarming of the OEM security system?

Just bought a 325i (2003). On my 745 (2006) the parking lights flash when I arm and disarm the OEM alarm. They do not on the 325. Can they? If so, how do I set it up? The owners manual has three measily sentences on the operation of the alarm. Hate to call the dealer service dept. on this...

Yes it can. You have to take it to the dealer and they will give you a sheet with all the options available that your car can do. You check everything you want and service will program your car key memory. Each key can do different things or all the same. They charge 1/2 hr labor for this.
