I'm having problems when i accelerate fast, it acts as if its running out of gas for like 1 or 2 seconds, only when i press on the accelerator hard. It's like i step on the accelerator but the car just doesnt move for like 1 or 2 secs, then all the sudden it will pick up speed very fast. They have told me it could be the gas pump but to first replace the gas filter so i did and it;s still the same. Some people also told me it could be the fuel injectors, so i decided to take it to the VW DEALER to have it checked. They told me that the IGNITION COIL, SPARK PLUGS, AND WIRES.. had to be replaced. They said THATS HOW THEY GOING TO START. So meaning the problem might be somewhere else. What do you people think? Tomorrow i get it back. by the way its $$480 BUCKS for what they are gonna do today..

you should have just bought a bottle of injector cleaner and poured it in the tank when you filled it to see if it fixed it , but $ 480.00 later, your asking for advice. but 2 least now if it's still making noise you can bust their asses and take it back and if you take it back call first - then raise hell and tell them you need a loaner because you work out of your car and everyday without it causes you to lose revenue that would now be their fault !!it could be that wicked expensive stuff you're having the dealership do...or it could be you need something minor, like a new air filter. or you might need to replace a vacuum hose, also pretty minor. You should get your car back from the dealer and go somewhere else if the problem persists.
Is the BMW M3 really automatic?
Also, you should ask the dealer if they guarantee their work. More specifically, say to them, "If the work did does not resolve the problem, do I get my money back?" It would've been best to ask this in the first place, but it's worth a try now. My experience with dealerships has been crappy service. Maybe yours will be different.
