I need a '04 owners Manual for a Envoy XUV??
People put the PES SUPERCHARGER on the 2.8. It's the cheapest way, but still not worth it and will cost $4,800 or more. You're only going to get another 100HP out of a 200HP engine. And you will have reliability problems from boost and pulley / belt stress. The 2.8 just wasn't designed to take that kind of abuse for very long. If you're that desperate for performance, just buy a used S4 or A6 2.7T. People have gotten 500+ HP with a chip and bigger turbos with the 2.7. But only the MANUAL transmission can handle that kind of torque / power.
Cheapest option is to sell your car and get a A4 1.8T and add a K04 turbo / RS4 intercooler & intake. There's just far more tuning options for a car that came with a turbo stock from the factory.
What does TESCO PETROL do to your car The Naff stuff?
yeah technically u could, ive tried findin some to buy online, and thers nothin, if i were u, find a 99' S4, and take the engine out n put it in ur A4, since it has 260HP turbo charged 2.6 or 2.7L already...a 2.8A4 isnt really common to tune, not alot of parts you kno.. you'd have ot make ur own turbo if u kno what i mean, fabricate one ur self.Yes, Audi and VW engines are built to be turbocharged and tuning companies have taken a golf with the same 2.8l V6 engine and added turbo's to it
i don't know why everybody answer yes??probably no one of them have done it before,my friend has a4 2.8 he was thinking about turbocharge but a price changed his minds the coast with all updates and labor almost 10k i wouldn't go for it also but he resolve the problem he found a guy in pennsylvania who's selling a supercharges he spend about 3k with instalation so far is 6 monts after the job was done and everything is fine so think about it!
How much will it cost to replace shocks in my Toyota Corolla?
Technically, yes. Realistically it doesn't make sense. Firstly, the 2.8L V6 is totally different than the 2.8L (AAA) VR6... so the commonly seen turbosystems for VR6's will not bolt up to a V6. Fabrication would be cost prohibitive for your model. An S4 Bi-turbo motor swap would be ideal and cost about the same as a good turbo setup @ $5-7K. the 1.8T (AEB) motor would be @ $3-5K. Hope that helps, the V6 motor was just a p.o.s. crossover for VW/Audi, sorry.all i know of is the pes-tuning supercharger kit. you can find it at http://www.pes-tuning.com. good luck.
