My Citroen Xsara Picasso seems to always have a strong smell of petrol coming from it. Anyone with same prob

I have taken it to the Garage and they can't seem to find a problem or even notice it. But there is definitely a strong smell of petrol always coming from car so bad you cannot always have the windows open - does anyone else have the same car and has noticed the same thing. Or is there something wrong with mine?
