GMC, Oldsmobile, Shiloette, Temp gauge is only reading half way, I installed new temp. sensor on block?

Question:
Gauge was reading only up too half way, replaced Thermostat on block and lots of heat out of the duct and gauge still read half way so thought possible Temp. senson on top of engine so replaced that but made no difference.

Is there anything at all I can do add more hp to a 2006 Pont GTP?

what am I missing, seems to be reading only part of signal... goes up half way... stutters and drops back down to 1/4 scale, if this were actual temp I wouldn't have the heat like I have so it seems electrical or something...

2003 350z need opinion/any info?

If you let that sit and idle does it go up any higher? I understand your concern but not going above centerline is a very good thing!! let it sit and idle will go above center but that should be the only time!!will go almost to 3/4 line then fan kicks on and brings it down.

i own a shop ,and be happy its not going all the way up,that would mean its over heating,those only went a little past half way when they was working right,and that was with a 198 degree thermostat in them,you may have the wrong thermostat in it,sometimes the boxes will get switched around,and you,ll wind up with a 180 instead of a 195, like it should have in it,you might want to check it to be sure,good luck hope this helps.
