Has anyone else get a creaking sound from clutch pedel when engine hot?

i have a vw golf mk 5 fsi se reg 2005 when i take it uder waranty to garage they say its ok as they cannot here the creaking .creaks more if you move clutch pedel slowly can hear the creaking under bonet

a common fault on volkswagens, not newer ones or mk5 golfs, is the pedal box has a weak weld in and when it creaks is when it starts to break.
i would take it back and specifically ask for that to be checked. i dont know if the mk5 golf has a different set up to the older vws though,

Had the same problem in a 00 polo, the welded section on the clutch pedal weakened and finally broke leaving me stranded. tends to happen VWs with highter milage. Due to cost cutting in volkwagon in the last 8years, components are not as high a grade.
