I have a 99 saturn sc1 manual and whenever i turn it off its maks a loud rumble and kind of shakes. It sometimes rumbles and shakes when I am idling or stopped as well. Any idea what this could be?

the cars should not make ne noise/sound when they r turned off. they are supposed to do so when they r started. tell ur car not to do that to y ou ne more

The valves or pistons in the engine may have dislocated and may have a lack of oil. When the engine is off, the pistons and valves go into a position that is never gone into when the engine is on.
