Question:
Hi,
someone can tell me how to proceed to make a bypass on an escort 91 fuel cut off switch. I want to know if my switch is dead or something else, because "fuel cut off" light stills on in dashboard since 3 days and car does not start.

Does the Nissan Titan 5.6L V-8 have timing belt(s) or timing chain(s)?
this is very simple, the fuel cut-off or actually inertia switch is located in the right hand rear of the trunk or storage/cargo area depending on the model. there is usualy an access hole so that you can depress the reset button, which if your car was hit or recieved a hard jolt, may need to be done. these are usualy small black boxes with a round button on top and a 2 wire electrical connector, its bolted to the body of the car. they are located behind the trim panel in the trunk or cargo area. if resetting the button does not work, being a 2 wire connector it is very easy to by-pass. use an insulated wire, strip the ends, make it into a u shape and plug it securly into the connector and keep all bare wire away from any metal and give it a try. if it starts, buy a new inertia switch at the dealer (about $17 u.s.) and your back on the road.Does anyone make a aftermarket hood for a 71 volkswagen super beetle?

Have you tried to reset the switch, in the trunk press the button to reset it. You would need a wiring diagram to bypass it. several wires with nice colors. You can start with checking the fuses.switch cant be dead if car wont start.
