Unfortunately by federal law now it is required to be the way that it is. The only way that you can legally get it turned off is if you have a disability and have a doctor's note saying that you can't wear a seat belt because of it, bring it to the dealer and they can disable it. Othewise, you might want to see if one of the local junk yards has any totaled Toyota's that you could cut a seat belt buckle out of and just put it into the reciever so that it senses that it's buckled.Hope this helps

did you check to see if there is a fuse? its either a fuse or a wire you need to find. i know this really isnt any help but thats what im always hearing or what you can do is buckle the seatbelt and sit on top of it then its permanently buckled

there is no way to disable the alarm unless it sees a seatbelt in the reciever,You can get a old seatbelt and plug the metal in to the reciever without the Belt.
That is about the easiest way I can think of.
