i own a shop ,and the g6 is faster but doesn't have the ride the SS has to it,given a choice id choose the SS over the g6 going from 0-60 isn't that I'mportant, im not in that big of a hurry ,but i do like a good riding vehicle that looks good and is economical to drive, id have to go with the impala,good luck hope this helps.
