Where can I buy new power door lock actuators for Chevy Cobalt 05? (in NJ or NYC)?
The hemi you can identify because the spark plugs are in the center of the valve covers, as opposed to being on the side of the engine block. The plugs are in the center top of a dome, with the valves in the sides of the dome. The piston can generate a much higher rate of compression before the plugs detonate the large volume of fuel mixture. High performance comes with maintenance costs. The hemi engines in just about any shape are worth money because they don't make the hemi any more. Sometimes, you can find an old Imperial and some of those models had the hemi as an option. The Super Bee had it.What is the proper procedure for dis-assembly for a 2001 ford f150 rear end?
"Hemi" is short for "Hemispherical chamber". In a "Hemi" the spark plug sets in the center of the detonation chamber, that helps it to burn all the fuel-air mixture faster than it would if the spark came from the side of the chamber. Faster burning means faster movement of the piston during the power stroke and more horsepower for the same size engine and a better power to weight ratio. As for the Charger? It's a good runner for the price.
Can i change the key/door chimes on my truck?
they are fast but dodge chargers don't ride well on the highway...in my opinionWould anyone recomend a 2000 nissan maxima?
As the other mentioned, such design generates so much horsepower and torque, so yes, they are very fast. But unfortunately, they are NOT popular if you take all engine as consideration. Because of the design, the rate of its fuel consuming is like a gasoline thirsted vampire. Rather, the regular 4 stroke piston engine are much more fuel efficient.
The VVT engine that was used by Toyota and Honda for a long time seems to be taking over. Even chrysler and GM and considering it right now.

Anyone else not impressed with the new Infinit g37 ?
The new Hemi engine isn't really new, the Hemi was out in cars in the early 60s as a 626 Hemi, which was by far a better engine than Dodge makes now. They really aren't any faster than any other engine due to governors and such that are put on them now.Is there a difference between a 2006 Dodge Magnum and a 2007 Dodge Magnum?
Go drive one - really fast for a big carSaturn Ion Performance Modifications?
The Dodge hemi engine isn't any miracle, its just a particular design of combustion chamber and piston, which is VERY common now a days. It's built with higher performance parts to make a lot of power and the trade name is based on the original hemi which was somewhat unique among v8 muscle cars of its time, but again the hemi design wasn't THAT much better, it was a marketing term for an overall high performance engine. The hemi moniker for dodges always represents a higher powered vehicle, and R/T or SRT vehicles are the absolute highest performance vehicles from Dodge.More Questions & Answers ...
