say no to jap junk
That is the japanese goal, better and cheaper. Mainly due to their better uses of material, such as more durable plastic, instead of alloys. for the inake manifold, and coolant resviors. If you get a accord with leather, with all the options it be more expensive than a A4

An Accord is a family car. An A4 is a entry level luxury car. A better comparision would be an Acura TL & Audi A4 or a VW Passat & Honda Accord.Where can I download the user's manual for my 1988 nissan sunny california?
The quality is pretty much the same, Plastics and alloys etc. The major price difference comes because of the cheaper availability of raw materials in the surrounding Asian countries where they prefer to trade. Also the cost of labor in Asian countries is very low. The efficiency rate of each worker and the low cost of building robots to build the cars lower the cost to build one car in the long run. The German and European cars import a lot of raw materials from Asian countries to keep their prices low but they have higher shipping costs which again increase the price of every car built. Also the labor costs in the European union is far higher than the Asian counterparts. Remember, just because anything is expensive does not necessarily mean it is practical and economical in the long run.Why was production of the CHEVY SSR stopped?
You're compairing apples to oranges here. [Most] Asian vehicles are made to be run cheap, sell for cheap, and ride good. They are [what I call] lux-ecno. They are somewhat a luxeroury vehicle, but they are made to be fuel efficiant, they are designed to get from point A to point B as painless as possible. [Most] German vehicles are designed to give a smooth ride and be very luxerious. They are in a "touring" class of vehicle. Fuel effancy is not as important, and they are not ment to be an every day driver. The A4 is a great car, but the Japanese can build cars much more efficiently than the Germans can. That is the main difference. Hondas and Audi's are both made from very high quality materials, but Hondas are more reliable, and have better re-sale value. The A4 will handle better, and it has a nicer interior.

How much horsepower does a 1972 413 dodge industrial engine out of a travco motorhome have?torque?
It has to do with the marketing system. Japan is just willing to sell it cheaper than Germany. Why do you think there are so many more Honda's on the street than there are Audi's. Audi prefers selling more expensively made car for more money each sale but less sales while Honda goes for the cheaper made cars to sell more. Honda cars are also often times degraded when they come to America because of Japanese marketing laws. Audi's has a high class name brand thing going also. It's like Gucci. Their products aren't actually better. They're just known better to have high prices. I've actually heard that they are way overrated but I can't say anything because I've never owned one.More Questions & Answers ...
